I painted him because I'm a fan of the The Chosen - the first-ever-multi-season TV show about the life of Jesus. Created outside of the Hollywood system, It was created, directed and co-written by American filmmaker Dallas Jenkins. Season one was the highest crowd-funded media project of all time.The series' creators stated that they had hoped to distinguish the new series from previous portrayals of Jesus by crafting a multi-season, episode-based story. The Chosen allows us to see Him through the eyes of those who knew him.
TIPS:
Do the sketch using grid-lines.
Once done, erase all the grid-lines for a neat result.
(I didn't erase all the lines since I will cover it with black paint later.)
Start painting. Focus on mid-tone and lighter tone first.
For a better result, double coat. Always apply 2nd layer of the color you are using.
Lastly, apply the final touch. The touch of love in what you are doing.
